Reach out & connect 

It has been a challenging and confusing time for shiatsu practitioners across Australia with different regulations in each State, numerous lockdowns and restrictions.

The STAA National Council would like to offer an online forum for members to connect, share and support each other. This 45 minute online forum is focussed on practical suggestions, ideas and concerns when working in these COVID-19 times. In keeping with STAA's mission, this is not a forum for personal viewpoints on specific policies or vaccinations.   

Panel forum format:

  • Paul will welcome everyone and recap STAA's mission
  • 5 minute sharing from each panel member based on STAA's core values
  • Professional - Kaiya will share the latest guidelines and policies
  • Respectful - Dorothy will suggest techniques to stay respectful of individual viewpoints 
  • Adaptive - Linda will provide practical examples of adapting your practice and embodying an adaptable mindset
  • 30 minutes for open Q&A. This session will not be recorded and is a safe, open and confidential space for sharing.

    Let us reach out, grow as a community, and support each other to continue the important work of shiatsu.
