In early spring our Okido yoga practice becomes more energetic and dynamic after the quieter inward practices of winter. This workshop will focus on practices to purify and relieve any stagnation from the colder months and to smooth out the Liver Qi.
Spring is the time of the Wood element, represented in the Liver & Gall Bladder channels which have an upwards and outwards movement.

Julie Atkinson
Julie has more than three decades of yoga practice, study and experience, including teaching in Melbourne, Switzerland and the United States. She began teaching Okido yoga in 1986, completed a Diploma of Yoga teacher training (International Yoga Teachers Association) in 1989 and a Diploma of Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies (Australian Shiatsu College) in 2008. Julie is currently teaching yoga in Melbourne and online.
Julie's yoga style is woven from her studies and practice. She is passionate about the benefits of Okido yoga and working with the seasons, the elements, the time of day and the times we are living in.
