Okido for Winter
Julie Atkinson will lead us through an Okido practise focusing on the Kidney and Bladder meridians and organs to help improve our circulation, strengthen our hara and support us throughout the Winter months.
In Okido Yoga during the winter months, practice slows down as we turn within and take stock of where we are in our lives. Like the trees which shed their leaves in Autumn, we let go of the things – thoughts, feelings, habits etc- which no longer serve us.
This workshop will include some or all of the following:
- Do-in/meridian massage
- Okido corrective exercises
- Relaxation/visualisation
- Affirmations
- Chanting
These practices aim to assist both shiatsu practitioners and their clients during the Winter months.
